New Port de Paix Hospital clubfoot clinic offers Ponseti clubfoot treatment
Dawensky Dorminvil was born on August 6, 2015 with his feet turned inwards. His mother blamed herself for the condition. Seeking help, she visited local health centers but the clinicians were unable to offer a solution. One morning, Dawensky’s mother heard someone with a megaphone announcing that Hôpital Immaculé Conception de Port de Paix was starting a treatment program for children born with a deformity called “pieds bots” (clubfoot). She and her husband took Dawensky to the hospital where he began treatment. The parents are elated to know that their baby has the chance to walk normally.
