MOi Team Journeys to Northern Vietnam

During the MOi team visit to northern Vietnam in early November 2016, MOi Medical Director and Board President Dr. Robert Veith scheduled Le Thi Gam, a three-year-old orphan with mild cerebral palsy, for TAL (“Tendo Achilles Lengthening”) surgery.

En route from Hanoi to the MOi-sponsored facility in Sơn La in northern Vietnam, Dr. Veith conducted a patient evaluation at an orphanage where the group met Le Thi Gam, a three-year-old girl with mild cerebral palsy. Dr. Veith will perform Le’s surgery during the 2017 MOi in-country outreach visit.

A 2017 Vietnam Donor Trip Package for Two will be auctioned off at the 2017 MOi Steps to Healing Auction and Gala being held on Saturday, 11 March 2017, at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Washington. For details and ticket, donation, or sponsorship information, visit the event website.
