Laurel Saliman, MD
Laurel Saliman, MD is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon who has been practicing in the Seattle region since 2003. She is originally from Colorado and grew up in Fort Collins. After college in Colorado Springs, she attended the University of Colorado where she completed medical school, and orthopedic surgery residency. Her fellowship in pediatric orthopedics was completed at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
Dr. Saliman moved to the Seattle area after fellowship and has fallen in love with the city. She and her family moved back to Colorado in 2011 but she returned to her practice at Swedish Medical Center in 2014. She and her family had not realized that they had turned into “Northwesterners” until they moved away.
Her practice is a general pediatric orthopedic practice but she has special interest in lower limb deformity and especially the Ponseti method for clubfoot treatment. She has been involved informally with POF and now MOI for at least 10 years in an informal advisory role. She is delighted to be included as a member of the board of directors for MOI.
